The reflection conversation plays an important role in the observation/teaching process. In this discussion, you will see Ms. Eva, the teacher, and her principal, Ms Apryl immersed in an opportunity for BOTH to learn and grow through a focus on CELEBRATIONS/ CONCENTRATIONS of teaching and student learning. The teacher/principal discuss specific examples of how Eva adjusted the learning process during the lesson and plans to “overhaul” one of the small group activities to increase student engagement. Feedback is timely, specific (based on data), descriptive, and aligned to specific priorities as defined by The Framework for Teaching Clusters or The Framework for Teaching Components and the teacher’s request for specific feedback on areas of interest.
