Effective, classroom management is a critical part of any learning environment but it is essential in the PreK Deaf and Hard of Hearing classroom to maximize shared and individual learning opportunities. In “Molly and Michelle’s Management”, these teachers have worked with their teaching colleagues to establish, model, and reinforce key student environmental and instructional routines with their PreK students. In this section, pay special attention to how Molly uses a “too many students in the writing center” issue as a “teach-able moment” for student empowerment.
